Unlike dyes and normal printing-inks, which may be expected to fade or discolour if exposed to bright light, ceramic colours exist as inert mineral particles. During the firing process, ceramic colour particles are heat-fused at high temperatures to combine with glass-forming materials. Correctly applied and fired onto tiles, our ceramic colours will generally have a physical durability appropriate for the entire useful life of a building. Thus our digital ceramic tile colours are 'permanent'.
